As results for Delhi Schools Admissions ( 2013-14 ) are expected from today 17 Jan 2013, We would be posting all the lists related to results on this single thread. PARENTS ARE REQUESTED TO POST SNAPSHOTS FOR THE RESULTS THAT ARE NOT ONLINE AND ALSO POST THE RESULTS UNDER THIS THREAD

Pre School Admission 2013-2014
Very Important
The entire admission process relating to Pre-School 2013-14 is being addressed by the Hon'ble Courts.
The Final Decision in this regards will be based on the judgement by the Hon'ble Courts and the Directorate of Education in this regard.
POST REGISTRATION PRE-SCHOOL ADMISSION SCHEDULE 2013-14
List of candidates registered along with points arrived at on the basis of the criteria as filled in by the parents - In A to Z order.
IMPORTANT
The points are provisional and do not qualify for admission. The final points will be arrived at after the verification of the documents relating to the criteria filled in by the parents.
IMPORTANT: Original Documents required for verification
1. Birth Certificate
2. Address Proof
3. OMV Card for sibling - Photocopy/Admission details.
4. First child Affidavit/Undertaking
5. Single Parent- Death Certificate of Spouse.
6. Transfer order along with joining report
7. Medical certificate for child with special needs-Govt Hospital.

@ Surya, while I progressive thought and I agree partially with it, this has a few implementation glitches:
a) This can work in the US or a developed nation, where the no. of seats available for schooling in residential areas outnumbers the student pool. In India or say Delhi this is the opposite, per 100 seats, there are some 4000-5000 applications.
b) the other issue is standard of education which is different for different schools. Again except the cream high class schools, all schools in developed nations are accredited to a university, follow the same pattern for studies, sports and recreation. We all know internally this is not true.
c) Sibling criteria, while we may fight against discrimination, as a parent my 1st choice of school would always be where my elder one goes, simply because I understand the way they operate, their schedules, teachers, its a comfort factor. A new school would be like starting afresh.
d) The government school system for now is primarily for the EWS as their fee structure suits them. Agreed the education standard is not up to the mark, but that is not because of the teachers, its because the no of students are so high and resources available to them are very less. They cannot be compared to Private institutions.
We need a system first which standardizes education, the fee structure, we cannot have as someone earlier pointed out a 10000/- per quarter and 50000/- quarter fee schools.
And we need more schools, from established institutions and we need existing ones ones to upgrade their seats.
