Comment by kamalbir singh on March 5, 2013 at 5:13pm: @Mamta, He gave the comments on Amrita, he was giving comparision between APJ SS and Indian School, About English speaking, I thnk, Indian school is good comparatively but other factors like their ECA and sports activity, they are less as compared to APJ SS, About english speaking, major factor is quality of environment that child gets at home and in school

Comment by kamalbir singh on March 5, 2013 at 4:34pm: Amity saket is going in a big way in infrastructure & ECA with sports activities, Amity push vihar has its old infrastructure with no planning in moving ahead, BB has infrastructure with more ECA, sports activities but infrastructure comparision to amity saket is not enough, second crowd in BB is not better than Amity Saket

Comment by Somdutta Malhotra on March 5, 2013 at 4:18pm: Naresh- APJ SS is better than Amrita in terms of ECA, infrastructure, facilities, academics, sports....but if you consider only the English-speaking environment, being an alumni, I would frankly tell you that the English culture did not exist in my times too, some 13 years back! And now the situation is even worse! I know ppl studying there in Std VII and VIII...they tell me that all the hindi nd haryanvi crowd has creeped in badly...so the 'somewhat existent' English environment has completely vanished now!

I also spoke to kids in Std II...somehow they had a different story to tell...they need to pay a fine of 5/- every time they utter a Hindi word in class...

So, i guess, at younger levels, the stress is there...but gradually as u level up, no teacher bothers!

Comment by kamalbir singh on March 5, 2013 at 3:48pm: @Upasana, I rate the schools as Amity Saket>BB>Amity Pushp vihar, More over, Distance is also major factor for child development, If child so tired that he/she cannot have a good time for sports, home and also parents time then good school with more distance is not good option
