Class 1 seats available for fresh admission is next to NIL, so such parents will not have any option outside the said schools & will be at total mercy of these play schools, who in turn will not shy from AUCTIONING such seats

Schools like DPS is so tranparent as they are coming with 5th list ...but many schools did not have even the third list ...

@ Mark just for curiosity do you have idea on how these A++ schools like Vasant Valley , Sri Ram , Mothers charge . Went to KRM GK2 they say no seats but charges are 10-15 K inclusive of Transport , Same is for Ambience . If these standard schools charge so high then what would be the fees for these A++ schools.

Play schools which act as a feeder school of a main schools are governed by doe policy then how can la peteite , blossoms , kr junior act such hi handedly

Also read somewhere (last year) govt is in process of implementing regulatory policy for play schools

If a play school promises a seat in main school in class 1 then they have to keep vacant seats to accommodate such students, what is the modus operandi as the schools can not show seats vacant (to doe) when so many parents are still waiting for seats ???

Also if the seats are not vacant how will they adjust students from feeder play schools.

BTW how many students does such play schools admit by assuring admission to main school, if conservatively we take it as 40, then it means one whole section is still vacant at such main schools !!!

The last date of admission in nursery for those selected in draw of lots conducted on 12th May 2014, has been extended till 21st May 2014. After that the seats will be declared open for other candidates
