Comment by Mark William on May 15, 2014 at 6:02pm: Mahesh bhai, I agree earlier schools used to do it in nursery admission, but this year they cannot do it even if they want to, because every thing is based on the DRAW OF LOTS, I have witnessed around 40 DOLs and feel that this accusation is not right, people have been selected in good schools from areas like Sangam Vihar which is majorly SLUM area.

Comment by Lipi Saxena on May 15, 2014 at 6:00pm: Finally, after a long ordeal, managed to get get a seat for my son in Ramjas School, Anand Parbat. Don't know much about it being a good school or not. But as the saying goes "Beggars are not choosers"..!! In any case it satisfies the criteria that i had in mind for a good school-should have playground, students who appear to be not exactly sophisticated but more than the ordinary, clean environment etc.. The fees structure is also nominal. Had to pay Rs. 12960/- for April-June, 2014. Only problem is that the surrounding areas of the school are not that good. Hope my son adjusts to this new environment and the pedagogy of the school justifies my expectations.

If anybody has any reviews about the school, please tell me. Both negative and positive comments will be of a great help for me...

Comment by SANJAY on May 15, 2014 at 5:54pm: Guys I applied in 22schools but not selected even in waiting lists of any school. I have 2-3 plans in mind which i would like to share you :-
i) This race was for big tier 1 schools, there are many tier 2 schools who are still waiting for you. Get you ward admitted to one of these school and try your luck direct in KG next year. Meanwhile keep asking schools for any vacant seat.
ii) My residence is on the border of Delhi, I can apply in big schools of NCR.....they are still open for nursery admissions.
iii)Home Schooling.......a qualified teacher can be hired for 5-6 kids for home schooling.
