Situation is going to be chaotic both ways

amit :- issue before SC is of IST not of 70 pointers. SC may decide whether there should be a redraw of 70 pointers including IST or IST should be restored ?

Comment by SACHHIN SAPRA on April 16, 2014 at 6:51pm

AMIT:- They were given that freedom by previous LG/doe circular and on the basis of ganguly committee report.  Except NGO's no parent challenged those guidelines because I believe except for MGMT quota other criterias were not giving one category a cake walk. It had points for various categories.  I am not an authority to uphold past guidelines but they were not contested by parents in 5 years.

@Sachhin - Thanks bro for the clarification. I hope things get sorted out soon and everybody is happy.

Sudripto , SC will give hearing to all affected parties if they implead themselves in teh case. LG and DOE are already a party. Others I dont know.

Nandiya:- absolutely correct. HC erred in leaving IST completely out as leftovers.

@Nandita - I agree. Let's hope for the best for all stakeholders. It's really becoming a mental strain otherwise. Cannot concentrate on other things.
