Sudripto, Sachin said in one of the updates that LG and DOE play a major role in SC hearing and they are against IST points as they removed it, so lets put trust in the judiciary, they need a find a solution which does not disrupt all the admissions permitted by HC and also resolve IST cases to a best possible extent.

I agree with Sudripto, HC did give a lot of time in the last two hearings about 3-4 hours each time and went in depth with this case, they had a data and they wnet with that, we can keep challenging that the data was wrong and so on but that was what the DOE, authority on schools submitted and they went by it. Yes if things had not moved to SC I feel that they would ahve taken sone decison on the transfer and the balance 70 pointers today as that is the reason they had asked to pick one seat by the 9th, so that they get a clear idea of how many setats are left and how many more need to be accomodated. But we never let the that proceed as IST went to SC, i also feel IST went to SC because schools were asked to start from 15th, which actually HC did not decide, that was a conclusion drawn by DOE and IST felt that their kids had been totally ignored.

@Sachin - I understand what you mean. But I was asking whether SC will give due consideration to all stakeholders or just pass a verdict favouring ISTs only. If hope it will be the former.

SC verdict will be final atleast it will put stop to further litigations.

Sudripto HC Judge Justice Ahmed does not want to take panga with SC . SC controls HC judges transfers and promotions to SC. No sensible SC will take panga. Infact it is a law if superior court is seized of an issue then lower court should not interfere. Moreover SC has put a stay on HC order so no question of passing any order.

dear friends there is no single decision which may give justice to all. may be we will be asked to applly again after scraping transfer points as though tranfer points were unjust but DOE or govt . can not change the terms and conditions after the applications are filled with certain dictation of terms. outsiders have got through top schools which they knew they would and that is whay they did not fill aplications or for medium standard schools. now court or anyone can not ask to get lost. sooooo re-application is waiting for us and 3 months of fees given to schools will not be adjusted even when schools will start from july. it is not the admission of kids of judges,DOE, politicians which is at stake so they are taking the matter leisurely and it is just fun for them. ANYWAY,BE PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN !

Will the SC consider the following and give a verdict favouring all. HC case took a long hearing time on 3rd April before verdict. The HC judges must have had some observation and were expecting that more seats will be left after 9th April. I have a feeling that since they had asked the schools to furnish Data on 12th they could have given a verdict favouring ISTs to some extent in today's hearing.

Dr Amita please the SC order on this forum it is mentioned LPA( letter patent appeal- HC appeal) has been challenged. Then check DOE circular of 4th April same LPA number is being referred to. Further all doubts have been laid to rest by HC today when it has refused to hear the matter as SC is seized of the matter. Wait for 21st April SC hearing if it happens.

Hello Sachin

What Mr ashok agarwal is talking in todays PIONEER

where does Mar 6 order mentioned in SC order i read the order completely ???

Advocate Ashok Agarwal, too, stated that schools were free to move ahead with the admis- sion process. “Reading of the interim order of the Supreme Court makes it very clear that SC has only stayed the operation of the order dated April 3 of the division bench of Delhi High Court resulting in the restora-tion of the interim order dated March 6 of the single bench of Delhi High Court. The schools are free to proceed with the nursery admission process keep- ing in mind the interim order dated March 6. It will be total- ly wrong to read ‘stay of the admission process’ in the SC order,” he said.
