ORDER

The Division Bench of Hon'ble High Court vide Drder dated 03.04.2014
in the matter of LPA No. 237/2014 titled 'Nitin Bhatia Vs Major Saurabh
Charan and Ors directed that:-
"All those applicants who have been selected pursuant to the
draw of lots concluded till date in more than one school, should,
on or before 09.04.2014, choose one school thereby vacating
the seats for the other schools. In case this choice is not made
on or before 09.04.2014, they shall lose their right to any
admission. The Directorate of Education shall collect the data
from all the schools which shall fully co-operate with the
Directorate of Education.
Till the next date of hearing no fresh draw of lots shall take
place. The admission process in respect of those persons who
have been permitted to be selected as above shall be completed
and concluded. This order modifies the previous orders passed
by us as also the impugned order."
The above said order was challenged in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of
India vide Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No. CC 6207-6208/2014 and the
Hon'ble Supreme Court on 11/04/2014 ordered that:- .
"Permission to file SLP is granted, In the meantime, the
operation of the impugned order shall remained stayed
until further orders."
Therefore all the Unaided Recognized Public Schools of Delhi are
hereby directed to comply with the Order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court as
mentioned above.
Further it is hereby clarified that the schools have to continue with the
admission process of Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged
Group Category seats, if the process for such seats has not been completed
by 9
th April 2014 as directed vide order no. DE/15/1031/ACT/2014/22663-
75 dated 04.04.2014.
This issues with the prior approval of Competent Authrrity. (10..

Will I get back my money from a minority school if my child`s name appear in some better school?
Has DOE passed some orders so that we poor parents do not loose lakhs of rupees in minority schools? Why should parents suffer financial losses for delay in admission process?

@suman ji can you mention some of such school's name

non-minority schools were waiting for DOE circular. Now it has come they will have to maintain status quo i.e not hold nursery classes. Please note that schools are not party to SC case it is DOE and LG who are party to SC case. SC order has to be brought to notice by DOE to schools and then only schools will act.    

Of course order is not applicable on Minority schools.
