Really liked the Irony & Sarcasm in your last two lines... just like, "The King is Dead, Long Live the King..."

This country is going to dogs. For all the taxes we pay, we can't even expect a good education for our children. Insensitive administration, greedy schools, callous courts, fake certificates, fake EWS cases and fake draw of lots. Nothing good can be expected.

In the entire mess it is the schools who are having the last laugh. Parents are dealing with double jeopardy. On one hand schools increased fees without being challenged and also are asking for more money on fictitious pretexts and on the other hand judiciary are making a mockery of the whole thing.

If you want to live happily in this country you should be the one who doesn't pay tax, obtain fake ESW or transfer certificate and enjoy all benefits, while the honest taxpayers remain as "Kullu ka Bail"

@Divya.. as per my hunch, on 16th April, SC is going to allow our admitted kids to continue with the academic session, IST cases may get some advantage in 2nd Draw. It's not going to be much different from HC verdict of 3rd April. Just "Old Wine in New Bottle"... so we just need to cheer up & relax this long weekend and prepare our kids for new school session starting NEXT WEEK... :)

I am one of the parent who had teh misfortune of applying under IST category we are from the armed forces and i would like to clarify couple of things

1. its not easy to move every 2 years. AGREED

2. we don't come to city like delhi more than once or twice in a life time and i know my child all his life will be studying in an APS or like wise but in delhi i want him to be exposed to the civil society now i realise BIG MISTAKE ...... YOU or YOUR HUSBAND CHOSE THE PROFESSION BY CHOICE OR WAS IT FORCED UPON YOU ? WHY COMPLAIN NOW ABOUT THE DISADVANTAGES THEN.

3. the whole issue is because IST were misused but who misused them not teh so called OUTSIDERS but the local resident so the 70 pointers.... IST WAS MISUSED BUT AT THE SAME TIME WAS NOT REQUIRED AT ALL FOR ADMISSIONS IN NURSERY. AM SURE YOU DID NOT GET POSTED IN DELHI BANG IN THE MID OF THE SESSION (THAT'S WHEN A QUOTA FOR ADMISSIONS SHOULD BE CREATED AND NOT IN THE BEGINNING OF A SESSION)

4. most importantly why isnt anyone looking it from this angle that poor us hum toh phans gaye in IST ke chakar mein we are being penalized because government could not formulate proper guidelines. POOR YOU.. AAP PHANS GYE --- HUM TO DOOBENGE SANAM SAATH MEIN TUMHEIN B LE DOOBENGE ATTITUDE HAI AAPKA....

AGREED DOE AND LG TO BE BLAMED FOR FRAMING SUCH PATHETIC GUIDELINES 

5. high court give admission to everyone except IST why what wrong have we done why should my child be deprived if all children are going to school from 15th why shouldnt my child go... NO YOUR CHILD HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG AND SHOULD BE GIVEN "FAIR" CHANCE TO GET AN ADMISSION AND NOT ON THE BASIS OF IST OR OTHER DEFENCE QUOTA

6. everyone has ganged up against IST people i here feel so distressed we serve this country better than most we live separately we will also leave ur city and go away .but while we are here atleast treat us like equals and not as untouchables imagine we are  being called frauds my advice to anyone who moves to delhi with the hope that ur child will get better education think twice i know i am...

JUST SO THAT YOUR CHILD DOES NOT HAVE TO VACATE THE SEAT IN THE PRESTIGIOUS SCHOOL... 

APS, AFBBS, TAFS, NPS, AND TO TOP 'EM ALL,  KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS ARE THERE WHICH HAVE QUOTAS FOR ALL CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEES INCLUDING ARMED PERSONNEL... WHY ARE YOU SO FIGHTING FOR A SEAT IN SANSKRITI THEN ?

THINK AND INTROSPECT IF YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT... IF THE ANSWER IS YES... LADY - HEAD INTO A SPIRITUAL REHAB !

Salute to the Armed Forces and its personnel... 

Is IST ward are special then us or they want special attention from us? I am talking for genuine transfer case as well. they require we pay for that just because of IST. if They say yes they want a pay for this then IST is OK else it a ashamed for them all.....

I just hope by the end of April at least the session starts. And if not everyone at least most of us gets the seat.

Gagan, no one is saying elsewise.... everyone respects the service. No one is arguing that they should not have quotas in their own schools...army school, air force school, sanskriti . We all understand their pain too. But why again the supreme court? High court was saying that they will try to accommodate all the genuine transfer case. at least wait till 16th.

Exactly @Divya.. "Self less" parents like us have probably tried to hide behind broad shoulders of an Army Man and use him as a front so that he faces the Barrage of Projectiles from everyone.. and our "Self less" agenda is served... 

I still stand by my "DEFENCE - THE NOBLEST PROFESSION" comment... even if everyone else DISAPPROVES... :)
