What does MR Charan want? He has a confirmed seat in Sanskriti school although being a transfer case. Now which school he wants? And don't say he is doing it for the society and not for himself, then why he didn't wait for this year process to end? And how come courts don't realize this thing?
@Ajay
actually her admission stands in Sasnkriti as far as i think( it is under the reserved quota) so unless and untli something radical happens it will stand) so why all this ruckus, no one understands
@ abhaya
personally i do not have any issue with defence personnel or any one, but this line of argument that we are the first citizens and so all the people should wait on us, is totally juvenile and asinine. check Ms Charan's page- she has admission in both sanskriti and Tagore interntational V.Vihar. may be now she wants the schools to move to Shankar vihar or other areas (wherever these parents live) . i will reiterate IST makes sense for higher class , even KG, but not for nursery
While I understand that you don't want admission in Sanskriti because of a choice. Think of people who have born and brought in Delhi and after applying to 20 odd schools still don't have a seat.
You yourself said that you will move out of Delhi in probably in couple of years, but think of people who have to stay here and still don't have an option.
Think about the financial loss to the schools who have to pay salaries to the teachers and staff, the transport operators who are not getting the bus fee, the uniform supplier and the stationery guy who stocked the stuff but many of which hasnt been sold till now. Think about the fees paid by parents like myself to the play schools, even after she graduated from playschool in March 2014, in the fear of "i dont know what will happen to my child's nursery admission". So the playschools have so much of surplus funds and even they dont know what to do, admit these students for a few months or take others who will be there with them for the whole year. So lets give a moment of thought to these suferrers too!
@abhaya gupta.
The question in this case is not of the right to IST points but is of the EGO. The aggrieved party in this case has already got a seat in Sanskriti School, one of the most sought after school but they have held the entire system to ransom because of the question that How can they deny us a special treatment.
Madam - This is delhi. People believe in live and let live. Pls take your seat in Sanskriti and allow us lesser mortals to move on. I know, this will further infuriate you but this is what every other person is thinking.
@ Tullika Anand Charan
Iam from a family of 3rd generation Defense Personal so I will shed some light for all to know.
Point#1 and 2 are as instrinsic to the job profile of your husband as the free ration, free accomodation, free electricity, free medical treatment, canteen facility, liquor at less than half the price of market etc. etc. which civilians cant enjoy! Sanskriti, Army Public School, Naval Children School, The Air Force School, Air Force Bal Bharti School are some of the schools Defence Personal enjoy a quota in. Army Institutes in the area of Hotel Management, Dental, Engineering, Science in various parts of the country are also reserved for Wards of Army personals. Everyone who is true to the country is serving it to the best of his/her capabilities. So the best solution is to create 5-10seats in every school for IST and with around 500schools in the city there would be 2500-5000 seats created. And as you say that you will leave the city in a few years upon further transfer, then scrap these seats in the higher classes as and when your husband get transferred out. We are all Indians and lets not create the future of our kids in an environment of so many divide, reservation, bitterness, court cases and its a pity that all this happened when there was a possible solution being created by honorable Chief Justice Ahmed.
Please advice. My son(4+) got selected in one of the minority schools, we took the admission there in KG. Then on 9th April we got his admission done in one of the school of our choice in Nursery but we were not able to cancel the admission of the minority school. Now with the current stay on admission by SC, should we still go ahead and cancel the admission in minority school or wait for 16th/17th April. If we cancel one admission and the judgement says redraw or start admissions afresh, and he is not able to secure a seat then? He is already 4+. Will it be against the HC ruling for keeping a minority school seat?
