Our Judiciary needs to ask our parliament to amend the rules for filing a PIL.
The amendment should be this way - If a PIL needs to be filed against any policy at-least 25% of the people affected by that particular policy should be compulsory to sign the PIL otherwise the PIL should not be accepted in courts.

I am one of the parent who had teh misfortune of applying under IST category we are from the armed forces and i would like to clarify couple of things 1. its not easy to move every 2 years 2. we don't come to city like delhi more than once or twice in a life time and i know my child all his life will be studying in an APS or like wise but in delhi i want him to be exposed to the civil society now i realise BIG MISTAKE 3. the whole issue is because IST were misused but who misused them not teh so called OUTSIDERS but the local resident so the 70 pointers.4. most importantly why isnt anyone looking it from this angle that poor us hum toh phans gaye in IST ke chakar mein we are being penalized because government could not formulate proper guidelines. 5. high court give admission to everyone except IST why what wrong have we done why should my child be deprived if all children are going to school from 15th why shouldnt my child go 6. everyone has ganged up against IST people i here feel so distressed we serve this country better than most we live separately we will also leave ur city and go away .but while we are here atleast treat us like equals and not as untouchables imagine we are  being called frauds my advice to anyone who moves to delhi with the hope that ur child will get better education think twice i know i am...

IST 5 points is cruelty against residents. Imagine I pay my 100 types of taxes to local bodies for all my life and when it comes to actually utilizing the facility of schools in neighborhood, I get edged out by someone who moved in yesterday.

My daughter has not got admission in any school so far because we are 70 pointers. Now, after this stay, the pressure has further increased! we were earlier hoping things will get clearer after the first list of admisions, now that too is on hold.. what to do..? where to go? Which school will admit my daughter now? Is there a limit to all this? We have spent out lives reaching a position where we are capable enough to give our children the best of everything, but I feel helpless now. There is nothing I can do for my daughter..

Parents who hav deposited fees can also go to HC for intereat on the amount deposited. As wat is going on. Every one is approaching court for its own interest.

The IST points give a 5 point advantage ti people coming from outside Delhi but if a Delhite gets transferred to Other Metro cities do we get advantageous points over localites who been staying in the city for a long time?

Best solution.

Let SC apply its mind unlike the Delhi high court judges who seemed to pass judgments devoid of any logic. Scrap the whole damn thing.  Anyways session will now start from July. By scrapping management quota and the farce EWS mess, the schools got a chance to increase fee exorbitantly. Nobody is complaining about steep rise in fees. Go back to the old formula may be cap the management quota to 10%.  Scrap all other quotas (except sibling) including the stupid 8km distance rule which actually raised the no. of applicants many fold contributing to the mess. And start the process allover and finish it in 20 days.
