Richa - the stay is on admission process and the point on PIL is - scrapping of interstate transfers. IST cases now know that they have a weak case if they agree scrapping and seek redraw of all at 70 points. they not challenging 1st draw, second draw but contesting scrapping of points by Govt.

As a legal person I can safely say that High Court bench has erred in passing piece meal order. Ever heard of admissions in parts and leaving others in the lurch particularly genuine transfer applicants. If govt changes rules of the game(WITHDRAW 5 POINTS) in the middle of the game then game/draw has to start afresh thats exactly and rightly single judge had ordered by asking for 70 point re-draw. The only culprit in this whole mess is Office of LG and DOE who made drastic changes without discussing with stakeholders and then further messed it up with withdrawing 5 points. Further , genuine transfer applicants must have also applied in very few schools hence now they are at a great disadvanatge. I am a 70 pointer. Try putting yourself in the shoes of a genuine transfer applicant.

Re-draw of all 70 pointers was a good thing or else start the process again with centralised online form with quotas in general category. As it is April will be over in litigation and admission process no point paying fee for full quarter.

DOE SHOULD COMPENSATE SCHOOLS FOR 1ST QUARTER FEE WHY PARENTS ARE BEING PENALISED.

Suneet...u seem to be a genuine case of transfer, then come at par with 70 pointers , try ur luck in 1st, 2nd, 3rd draw or no chance like others.  accept it happily or take it with a pinch of salt. everyone has there choice..

Agreed with Mr. Suneet..

One section of parents ll always stay unhappy..

so pil.. stays.. no admission..

coz people this yr are not accepting the admission process..

Obviously fake transfer cases are the reason to all this..otherwise if all were genuine this admission process wud have ended months ago..
