But Sachin tell me one thing, at the time when admissions were going on before 28th Feb I remember on this forum discussions on the same names coming in different schools. Also, there were discussions that ISTs had applied to multiple schools and that was the reason 70 points were not getting seats. Allow the admission to happen and IST would take only one seat and the other seats would come out for the 70 pointers. Then why suddenly now they feel that they have applied to limited schools because they have lost that 5 points. With all due respect to the IST cases but then shouldnt these points have come up much earlier in the admission process rather than now?

Soon the schools will jump into the bandwagon and will again ask for their Management Quota. They I remember have a pending case in SC for hearing sometime in June-July. It was supposed to be considered for next year but as things have got delayed and there is a chance that session might not start before July who knows the schools might also throw in their hat.

Courts are doing their job of hearing aggrieved parents. Our govt did not do its job properly of formulating guidelines in a participative and balanced approach.

@Sachin - if the Charan's have lost their seat then how come their name is still there in the selected list of students in Sanskriti. The list was generated post 3rd April order for sure as it also mentions that parents of selected candidates need to enroll by 9th April

Nupur, Major Saurabh Charan is not the only petitioner there are other parents also. Case name is Major Saurabh Charan & Others vs LG . Even if Major Charan withdraws the cas e name will continue. Please do not target individuals. They have a genuine cause. They were given benifit of 5 points therefore thay would have applied to few schools and now those 5 pts have been taken away in the middle of the admission process so they are just asking for 70 point re-draw or restoration of 5 points. Just imagine if 5 alumni were removed in the middle of the process wont they be aggrieved. Genuine IST cases are at loss let us all admit it. Infact it was alumni group and some 70 pointer which approached  against IST to HC because they were feeling insecure. IST should not have been there in the first place but changing rules in the middle of the process has caused harm to them. SC saw merit in their case that is why it has agreed to listen to their petition.  

Let us all be patient and only blame our GOVT.

SC always has bench of minimum 2 judges.  There are no single judge hearing in SC. Decision of SC is final on any issue. Until or unless govt changes laws to negate SC decision.
