Yes first child should get 5 points to compete against alumni. There is no distance point slab so alumni points will put the other kids at disadvantage. If alumni point is removed then there is no need for first child point either. I too have only one child.

Alumni point is anti democratic and encourage dynastic system.

This will give courage to those parents who are left out somewhere by this rubbish point system...and are feeling like they are late in giving birth to their first child, DAMN! It seems all the benefits are for those who have got the admission by hook or crook. Illogical point system!

LG should immediately give instructions to DOE to provide 5 points in the case of first child. Single child parents should be awarded with 5 points not punished with sibling points.

A 05 point for inter-state transfer was rubbish but a 05 points criteria for first child parents will be logical.
