Please see letter sent twice to  DIR DOE  by Mr Sumit Vohra for Modification in fee refund policy and we hope DOE will act soon.

As per DOE Fee Refund Guidelines/FAQ/Notifications,Fee will be refunded only if parent withdraws his/her ward admission within one month of depositing the fees but after DOE notification dated 7 Mar 2014 the schools can come with 1st  list by 7th Apr and the process can continue till 25 April .

As some schools have started taking fees and  now if any parents gets admission for their  ward in 2nd list or any time later then as per the following notification they will not get any fee refunded. As per DOE fee refund is only valid if applied in one month so parents depositing fees on 11 mar wont be entitled for fees refund if they get school of their choice in second list coming on 15 Apr or later on 25 Apr 2014

My suggestions

Either Doe Should change the rules of Deduction of Tution fees on Pro-rata Basis and allow parents to Withdraw Maximum within 2 months ( Keeping rest of the notification same)

 or

the Fee refund policy should made valid be for 2 months
