What a stupid management and rubbish decision by our so called ........ the court order is itself very confusing statement by mentioning..."wherever necessary"...then the DoE order has given too much much time for just conducting a fresh draw which is total unethical for the selected 70 pointers.

in this entire game there is nothing that cares for selected/confirmed 70 pointers (the least one)...why has it became necessary to test the luck of that little child and harassing the 70 pointner...again and again....that too only because of the damm LG who has totally failed to manage this small nursery admission how he can run the state and the HC who is blind enough to see the pain to 70 pointner selected children...

I encourage all selected 70 pointers parent to file PIL against it and get our rights....

Guyz do not let all this exploit you......demand you rights...lets fight...

At least now the DOE has shown some foresight and ability to think through........wait, don’t point the gun at me just yet.

DOE has done right coz they know very well that many more PIL/appeals are already on their way thankfully to their ability and competency to run a department of ....... So, they have done good by putting a far away date. By this date, hopefully all the PIL/counter PILs will be settled, court will put a workable solution for them and babus will go back to hibernation, only to wake up on just 11th hour of next year nursery admission.

Are born in India that’s why in lack of options we keep on saying ‘mera bharat mahan’ but unfortunately, the fact is that there is nothing great about this. place.

I think there is not much point in fighting over and calculating the probabilities  as  MAJORITY of the seats have already been filled in most schools by alumni and siblings .

the says fits very rightly EK ANAAR 100 BIMAAR !

Government should instruct all the schools to follow the same schedule. It have been observed that few schools such as st. George alkananda are in a big hurry and trying to play games

Get ready to pay more money to school ... The order says "by" XX Date and wherever applicable, which means the date of first list can be multiple and in case you are lucky in 2 schools, you would have to pay at 1 place to hold on to the seat !! Good circus ride this !!

PLZ  enumerate which schools will be delaying the first , second lists

There seems to be no end this pain..

Our policy makers seems to have no foresight ...

Fail to understand the logic for extending the timeline to April , while it could have been very well closed by 30 Mar.

This is entirely disappointing... Why this much time is given to display list?

@Raman.

Seriously, can you name any school where your scenario 1 might fit - not even by a long shot! The TRF cases were ALWAYS more than OPEN seats for 70 pointers after all other quotas/reservations.

I agree that your second Scenario 2 is more likely, but even then, the total number of seats even afterward are so frustratingly few as compared to your example that the "%difference" goes into miniscule multiple-decimals, easily rounded off to zero, rather than being in the order of 1%

However, what is done is done. I don't wish to argue or file a new PIL. I never had a selection earlier, I might now. Still, it is lamentable that the counsel for govt let it pass - he should have made atleast a little more effort on behalf of the successful few parents with 70 points.
