Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
The High Court also needs to clarify guidelines for 'minority' schools like Sardar Patel Vidyalaya. The admission process of this school is completely opaque. The don't have any guidelines for who qualifies under the 'Gujarati' category. Neither do they specify what their 'Inclusive Education' category is.
Even for the General category they don't put out a list of points that students they have admitted have got.
This leads me to believe that the admission process of this school is completely arbitrary and driven by patronage.
While schools such as these might be allowed to have reservations for minority categories they need to make it clear who these minorities are; and their admission process for General category students needs to be the same as that in all other schools.
Will someone please take this matter to the HC. I think we need to sort out these things once and for all this year.

You are absolutely right. These minority schools continue to give admissions on donation basis as there is no one to put a check on such schools.
I was hundred percent sure that my ward would get preference when i filled their unique form. But it was all a facade. Another person known to me had earlier told me that she is getting her child admitted in SPV on payment. Later on when I could not see my daughter's name in the list, I asked for her child's name and to my surprise it was there among selected candidates
@sansan sir.. sfs is a minority school...
But many other minority schools are following DOE guidelines like st thomas dwarka and st gregorios dwarka......
ANd other details are no known to me.....
SPV
minority schools can have thier own criterias even for gen seats
various SC HC judgements are there upholding the same
@ mahesh jain
is Sfs janakpuri a minority school ?
... only those private unaided minority institutions who are obliged under the lease deed to admit a certain percentage of students belonging to EWS category shall be bound by the guidelines wrt EWS admissions and not the school whose lease deed does not contain such an explicit term ...
Sfs janakpuri is most suspensious in this context....
1. They sold admission form for Rs 250 with prospectus
2. they just posted a list of selected candidates on 28 th feb.
3. They refused EWS quota admissions... the lady at form selling counter said to a EWS PARENT "इस साल से EWS का एडमिशन बंद कर दिया है". When he asked for ews form... i shocked to hear that.
Whats going on and how and who selects the candidates .... no boday knows....
