Comment by Suneet Sethi on March 26, 2014 at 4:13pm: Please remember - please exclude the 35% towards EWS, Child quota and staff quota. in the remaining 65%- approx. 11-15% are occupied by Siblings and around 18% with 70 pointers who went through lottery. less than 5% by IST. alumni is almost nil. the highest section holding seats is still 70 pointers.

Comment by Suneet Sethi on March 26, 2014 at 3:51pm: There is nothing wrong in the data other than at some places number don't add up which will be rectified by schools and they have a separate list. Please also keep in mind that the data requested by court is "as on 27th Feb" where IST were not cancelled. a first view analysis of this data suggests that neighborhood along with siblings and neighborhoods at 70 pointers have gained maximum seats and probably the allegation that 70 pointers haven't had a fair chance will fall weak. it further strengthens the IST story as they occupy less than 5% of eligible seats but the genuine and fake transfers cases need to be sorted for which the court can instruct extra measures. as of now the data throws a conclusion which will support all processes and draws done till or before 27th as various PIL litigations will stand nullified basis this data. this is my personal reading and interpretation and nothing here should be deemed as a final conclusion.

Schools will send data to DOE and that will be given by DOE to court or the parties who have filed PIL.
