I would advise, those parents who are thinking for next year for their kido's..Do not take it head...Its a routine process..everyone child will get admission...Just to do your best practices..fill school forms for all schools, near to your residence rather than getting panic..:)

Any expert thoughts on what the new SC plea for accommodating all IST could mean for admissions already confirmed..?

Summary

The court had made clear that only those who approached it, would get admission.

The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear tomorrow a plea seeking a direction to Delhi government to consider kids for nursery admission under the inter-state transfer category if their parents did not approach it.

The court, on May 7, had asked the Directorate of Education (DoE) of Delhi government to accommodate 24 students whose parents approached it under the inter-state transfer category and had made it clear that this benefit would be available only to them.

Senior advocate Vikas Singh mentioned the plea before a vacation bench headed by Justice J S Kehar and said that all similarly placed kids be treated equally. The petition would be heard tomorrow.

Earlier, the parents of 24 kids had moved the apex court against a DoE’s February 27 notification to scrap five, out of 100 points, which were being awarded to children under the inter-state transfer category.

The court, which had set aside the DoE’s decision, however, had made clear that only those who approached it, would get admission.

ekta ji send emails followed by personally delivering application adressed to the school principal, in all the schools you initially applied to, if any vacancy is available you may get a call from them, try in schools like DAV which have many seats & also lovely public if you applied there, more over if you applied for gd goenka & r interested then you hav a fairly good chance because most parents just dont turn up due to high fees its a good option if you can afford it.
