I will choose the school which is closest to my home... the reason being i dont see any point making a 3 plus kid travel delhi's traffic everyday (keeping in mind the rush, pollution and driving practices) and also the safety issues what all is not happening in cabs n buses
hey tell me one thing please. All schools will make their own point system or point criteria will be the same?
Also, do you agree that we would love to take admission for 2nd child in school where 1st child is studying even though school is B of category?
sending both child in same school is more convenient . It is practical thought.
I totally agree with Nipun Gujral
If weightage for Siblings and Alumni are more than other categories - it means only Siblings and Alumni categories would get admission as the history says.
@ Dr. Poonam,
Why distance point is so important ? for eg. Grade A school is available at 5 kms and Grade B at 1 km from home, then which you will choose?
Maximum, yet reasonable, Points for Distance, or a more liberal criteria in order to accommodate areas with no/fewer schools - maybe a tiered point system;
Points for Sibling;
Points for First Child;
Points for Children with Special needs;
No extra points for Alumni, or make it an alternate to Sibling/First Child points;
No extra Points for Girl Child;
No extra Points for Transfer;
