Of course, the points should be for second child too. If there is weightage for Siblings it means you are getting points for your second child if you choose the same school where your first child is studying.
Practically as suggested by many parents there should just be three criteria:
1. Distance (0- 1 km getting max marks then 1-5 km then 5-10 and so on)
2. Sibling
3. First child to give a fair chance.
rest all categories should be not be included.
@ Dr Poonam Sharma, May I request you to understand why first child with 25 points won't be able to get the seat ?
I guess we should have a standard point system for all schools & a proper calendar for the forms circulation. Also distance to be considered should be till atleast 10-12 km.
@deepak gupta points distribution suggested by you would lead to no admission to first child if the parents r not alumni. even in neighbourhood.
Dear Sakshi, could you please now summarize what all points are there? and for first child - what is the proof to be provided to the school?. in case it is an affidavit - from where it will be made?
many thanks to you and all the team members of nursery admission for keep on updating and helping us.
SHIV THANKS FOR KIND WORDS.
RAJAN YES IF LG OR NGO WANTS.
ANNIE .MANY SCHOOLS DONT CONSIDER 3RD CHILD AS SIBLING NO POINTS FOR THAT . SO SECOND CHILD N SIBLING WE MEAN SAME THING(SECOND CHILD)
Distance, Siblings, Alumni , First Child where Alumni and First Child points should be the same.
Points system should be more favorable to parents instead Schools. According to me points distribution should be like this/
sibling : 50 points
Distance 0-10 kms : 25points , 10-15 kms : 20 points, More than 15 kms : 0 points
First Girl Child: 10 points
Alumni : 10 pointsChildren with special needs : 5 points
