For me max points should be given more weightage & for first child ( either boy or girl) & there should be proper admission calendar for all schools.

What Mechanism in Nursery is in the favour of parents & children (In case free hand schools are given free hand to form the guidelines

1 Max Points for Distance

2 Points for First Child and Alumni Should be Equal (Or Capping of Alumni) As school Forum have indicated giving preference to Alumni

3 Points for Girl Child

4 Points for Sibling

5 Points for Children with Special needs

6 Common Admission Schedule (Calender) for All The Schools

7 Proper monitoring against erring schools
