Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
Through my post i would like to share my experience of nursery admission for my kid in DPS indirapuram. We had filled the form on first day of opening and got interaction date and time. However, the moment i reached the school, it was clear that it is not interaction, but only ACTION which is required from.the parents site. Since i had attended other schools interaction too, hence i was very upset with the way they held this.
1) No security was present at the entrance....anyone could freely move in and out.
2) The day 's interaction was divided into 2 half, and i guess because of the ineffective management, the first half parents remained till the second half, creating much rush. There were around 200-300 parents, with kids and all place was much stuffy
3) The reg. no were divided into groups, and subgroups. There were only few sofas at the counter, with no play area. Kids were screaming there only.
4)Coz of rush, we were all asked to BE IN A LINE!!!!!!!!(with jostling all over as everyone wanted to move ahead..
5)After accepting resistration, we were given a form to fill(!!!), and were given a plain paper so that we may put our child's name and reg no (the motto was to take the child away for interaction, while the parents should leave for auditorium)- the main problem started from that point only. How can a sane school expect that a kid less that 3 yr old at this time would just leave their parents and go with the schools teacher who is totally unknown to them . Most kids were crying and weeping, abd became fussy, and so was mine!!!!!.
They were virtually taken away as if they were sheeps!!!!!!
The school might be having a play area, but how would these kids know that this unknown aunty is going to take them for play???? This was more of TORTURE than play, and my kid was just out of control., and i was clueless wat to do next, since i was simply told to wait. A teacher told me to go back to reception with kid, when i reached there, i was asked to go to audi and when i finally reached the audi, i was asked to take my baby for interaction again. Till that time, my baby got calm but i was simply fed up.
Meanwhile they told us that we should attend a programme in audi related to school(?!?!)
5)After few more attempts to lure my kid for their torture( sorry Interaction)!!! , i gave up. How can the school even think that they can get anything creative out of a crying and fussy baby?? I simply walked away.
I had very high hopes from DPS Indirapuram. I still believe that the study and system must be fine.....but right from the nursery admission, didnt the school had some responsibility to make sure that the kids are comfortable??? They charge sooo much for registration, but dont even make sure that there is proper sitting arrangement!!!
As i had experience of other schools interacion, they were far better. No one asked us to leave our kid, he was always playful. However, this was really annoying. Moreover, this was going to be a screening interaction only, which further upsetted me . Couldnt they shortlist before and then call?? If he school was not able to handle such a large croud, then they shouldnt have called so many people at one time. even i as a parent was feeling that i have landed myself in a market. The school should improve their Interaction tactics for the sake of poor nursery kids!!!
Comment
Apart from the poor arrangement, when we told one of the teachers that all these kids are crying, and how can they expect an interaction in such situation, they replied that 9 out of 10 kids remain calm (i wondered!!!!!!! ). All what i was seeing was only cry cry and cry...!!!!
I had attended Amity Sec 1 vasundhaa and DPSGV interaction, the system was much better there. DPS indirapuram had highest registration fees(3300/-) amongst them and was worst on interaction. Went there just as all people otherwise praise it, but was really disappointed .
I would say it was complete chaos, even teachers were not very clear what they have to do. I saw 70% children were crying and they were not bothered to call their parents early or given them a chocolate (at least)
How they thought that child who did not completed even three years will stay for more than 1 hours.
I think they even did not had courtesy to ask children if they are hungry or need water.
