@ Dr. Ankur Gadodia, I think it is a personal choice! Some of us feel that early learning of basic concepts (whether in social, natural sciences or mathematics) is best achieved in one's mother tongue/first language. The National Curriculum Framework 2005 also shares this belief, if I may add. The merits and demerits of a school cannot be decided on the language it chooses as a medium of instruction, just as educomp smart classes - which some could argue, erode the imaginative capacities of learners by relying too heavily on perception-based activities - cannot be taken as a parameter for deciding 'top/best' schools.

In any case, just wanted to share this with everyone in the forum with whom I have sailed the high tides of delhi nursery admission for the last two months- my daughter has been offered admission in SPV and we are going for it, very proudly...

@Dr. Ankur, in SPV upto 5th its hindi med. but they teach in such a manner that students reaching 6th have the best grammer that become better than a convent. U will lucky to join SPV.

hi in SPV it is hindi medium initially. Also the form given today says they will not be stressing on formal education. Then how is SPV better than say amity or DPS mathura
