Working Principle

sanitary butterfly valve can be operated automatically through an actuator or manually with a handle.The actuator transforms the axial movement of the piston into a 90o rotary movement which it transmits to the disc. Then the valve is opened or closed.Sanitary butterfly valve can also be mechanically locked in open, closed, middle or other positions by selecting different manual handles to regulate the flow.
