Today I have gone to collect admission form from one of the Minority School based out of Vasant Kunj-Santa Maria School. This school is Nursery branch of St. Mary School of Safdarjung Enclave. To my surprise, they are charging Rs. 500 per form as against DOE notification of max. charge of Rs.25/-. Further, I am resident of Vasant Vihar , distance from  my residence to school is barely 5 km , but however, I  have been denied form because they don't have any bus route for Vasant Vihar.

I would like to ask Moderator:

Can they take such a high charge for Admission Form-Rs.500?

And secondly, can they deny to give admission form on the pretext that they don't have any bus route for Vasant Vihar?

Additionally, as informed, it is mandatory to bring your child at the time of submission of form...Reason I don't know?

Moderator....I would like to lodge complain...pls. advice..
