TWIN COLUMN IN APPLICATION FORMS NOT PRESENT AS OF NOW

DEAR MR SUMIT VOHRA,
Hope, you are doing great.
Just one very important thing for which all of us specially you and the parents of twins had fought i.e. twins to be considered same as sibling and with your efforts , same had come in the DOE FAQ's point no.33 that twins shall get 20 points as siblings get in present guidelines.BUT THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT IN THE APPLICATION FORMS OF SCHOOLS, TWIN COLUMN IS NOT MENTIONED SO KINDLY PUT PRESSURE ON DOE TO ADVISE SCHOOL TO BRING TWIN COLUMN UNDER SIBLING CATEGORY SO THAT THE ACTUAL BENEFIT PASS ON TWINS ELSE ALL THE EFFORTS WILL GO WASTE.
Today, I filled in online application form of Frank Anthony ,Lajpat Nagar but there was no twin column and infact when i entered twin in sibling details, my form was not getting accepted online and finally , I had to submit two different application of my twins with no mention of them being twins in either of the forms else online submission wasn't getting accepted. I hope, same problem shall not get repeated with forms of other schools. WE NEED TO GET TWIN COLOUMN IN SIBLING CATEGORY OF ALL THE SCHOOLS ELSE ALL OUR EFFORTS WILL GO WASTE.
KINDLY DO SOMETHING ON AN URGENT BASIS.ME WRITING SAME TO HONOURABLE MANISH SISODIA JEE and DOE . I REQUEST ALL PARENTS OF TWINS TO TAKE THIS MATTER FORWARD ON AN URGENT BASIS and MAKE IT SURE THAT THERE IS TWIN COLUMN IN APPLICATION FORMS SO THAT THEY GET SIBLING POINTS.

Highlighted in TOI/HT/Indian Exp/NBT/Hindustan/Dainik Jagran/Amar Ujala and many more newspapers !!

How come this is possible that a school stops admission for a particular year. I live next door to Apeejay Seikh Sarai and there is some construction work going on but thats happening since last year and its separate from existing school building.
Can your team please take this further and report to DOE to take necessary action on the school.

Dear Puma,
Kindly write to all schools AND MAKE UR VOICE HEARD.
Mother's international school says that they had clarified from DOE and the points are only for twins whose siblings r there in school or one of the twins already in school.they r asking me to get things in written from DOE if reality is contrary to it.
On asking about their source of clarification from DOE, they didn't answer.
I think all of us need to unite and get ourself heard at larger level .
iF the point no. 33 in DOE FAQ been for twin of sibling already in school, why was there a need of such a point at all because its well understood that whether its twins or triplets ,they will get benefit FROM sibling already in school.
if this logic goes, why point no. 34 where they cleared for two sibling getting benefited if brother or sister in school.
why HERITAGE SCHOOL, VASANT KUNJ, GOT IT RIGHT AND HAD GOT SIBLING/TWIN WRITTEN IN FORM( CHECK IT) and giving 20 points to both.
PLEASE ALL OF U WRITE...I AM STILL WRITING TO EVERY POSSIBLE AUTHORITY - DOE, MANISH SISIDIA JEE AND ALL POSSIBLE SOURCES........

Mr. Saurabh & my friends, Lets use this forum for sharing information and making concerted efforts. I too have twins and going through same situation. Few things that come to my mind are -
1. DOE did a good thing by publishing the FAQ's for twins, which shows that there is realization of our problems. However, due to lack of clarity, there are different interpretations. Can FAQ's Version II not be released?
2. Since most of the schools have already taken out their forms, (with no column for twins) I doubt how many schools would modify their forms, even if DOE provides clarity on 'twins' admission now.
3. I think most application forms have to be filled online, so you cant even indicate anywhere that you are applying for twins, hence we do not get benefit of 20 sibling points, since points will be calculated by the software.
So I suggest here are some ACTION POINTS FOR PARENTS WITH TWINS -
1. Call on the Nursery Admission Helpline No. opened by our CM - 27352525 (or other sources that can be thought of) to raise a combined concern. My appeal - please do this, so that we are heard, and at least revised FAQ's by DOE can be released. We should not complain, but insist on clarity, so that if required, can be atleast quoted.
2. Since the format of forms this year is more or less similar to the ones released last year(except change in points weightage), parents of twins would have faced the same issues last year also. In case you can get any info. on how they filled forms please share.
3. In case anyone of us comes to know about school policies in general for twins admission (any school) plz. share on this forum.

Same problem here. Even when you call schools, they do not have any idea about it. As per them sibling point is given only if a sibling is already studying in school. No forms (offline/online) have option to select twin or to correlate 2 separate forms.
