Was this Time Enough for Submission of Forms ? Your scores...Annual review..

1st was holiday in many schools..

Yesterday again i found two schools off due to Pongal or lodi.

Most schools dont take form on saturday and sunday..

The timing was in average 3 hours for submission of forms, only first half of day...

6 days gone out of  1st till 15 or 16th. ? So only 10 days right..

Inspite of the first week so chilling we got up and went to schools to find they yet to come..Even if i need to finish the nearst of schools i can only finish two or three or a day.. handling traffic, ..

In first week age upper limit issue, points issue, forms not given, forms given for high cost, asking too much personal info, forms and proofs required etc etc.. By the time the issues came to light and the days ended.. NO i dont want more days..Enough..

Anybody who has done 10 to 15 schools forms submission  excellent ..:).. Those more than 15 to 20 Outstanding kudos to your baby.. less or equal to 10 --like me..:)..

Last time i was able to apply to 10 +, i got shortlisted in only 1 school and  listed at 200.

Best of luck...

If one is applying in 20 odd schools 15 day time is manageable...esp if one of the parents is not working wherein the work load can be balanced between the two..

Time is too less as in 3 hrs it is not possible to collect forms in line & to submit it took one hour. Some schools are also asking for Certificates of employment from the current companies if the parents are employed. What has this got to do with the admission of the child in class nursery.

i agree. there are so many schools that are asking for the salary / income figures of the parents.

Some schools are also asking for Certificates of employment from the current companies if the parents are employed. What has this got to do with the admission of the child in class nursery.

Schools charge a nominal fee while offering the admission forms, however once you reach back to the schools for submission of the same, they hand over a slip / receipt of the Brochure / Articles etc....charging you anywhere between INR 200 to 500 or more.

This is utterly ridiculous on the part of the schools. We talk about imbibing the culture and ethincs to the tiny tots but somwhere we are self drawn into the dirty pool of making stashes of cash.....by hook or crook. Unfortunately i have been able to do only around 10 schools this time for my baby.
