washroom problem in Manav Bharti India International School, a big concern, plz help

Hi,

My daughter has been admitted in Manav Bharti India International School, Panchsheel Park n I noticed a major issue there in Nursery wing, called as Uditayan i.e. Washroom problem.  Toilet there is in a pathetic condition, I guess a Gvt School will have a better one. There is only one commode, over more than 100 kids (both girls n boys) in the garden area. That toilet is used for ground floor n basement kids, as there is no other washroom, washrooms are on first floor. No separate urinal for boys, there are urinals but they are high enough to be used by small kids and worst part, I saw maid asking a 3 year old boy to use those urinal, which he is not able to reach that n not at all helping the kid. Resultantly the both wet his pants.

My daughter used that washroom once n next day she was down with high fever due to UTI. That toilet looks like that it has never been cleaned since years. Also got to meet with cleaner, as he was also roaming around there, in that area, where maid left kids alone for some time, to get the soap to wash hands.  I asked the cleaner 'why this toilet is so dirty?' he answered that he is not provided with the cleaning material.

Imagine, manav bharti is not a cheap or reasonable schools, monthly fee is more than Rs. 4000 and see that basic amenities are not being provided there. I discussed the same with teachers but of no use. I dont know, what I am supposed to do.

I request all the parents, whose wards have been admitted there, please raise your voice, meet the school authorities altogether n ask them to reconstruct n redevelop the washroom area, customized for pre-school kids, which is hygienic n safe. There is one-half months time with them, they can do it.

Principal of manav bharti is not interested to meet me, as the receptionist said tht she has forwarded my application to d vice principal. I m shocked that meeting the school principal is like meeting the PM. Why a parent cant meet the principal n vice principal. Be it any issue. The issue for them may of no importance, but still they cant deny a parent to meet. I m worried, how in future they will b handling our grievances. I m really worried for my daughter's future.

My daughter have also admitted in the same school. Hygiene definitely should be high priority. They have taken a good initial amount from us. They have to take a good care of kids. Let’s all raise this issue together.

try going at d same time, this would put pressure on school authorities and no one would b targeted individually, its a basic need and school should take good care of kids of this age group as they most of d time need assistance.
