Ela...though I have not faced this problem but still I will suggest to get a valid proof from your husband's business trip (if possible). They might ask you for this during your interaction otherwise in general both the parents should accompany the child for interaction.

I too may face similar issue in case get an interview call this week. So Ela, please do let me know if you get it and attend it all by yourself. My daughter's registration number is somewhere around 2200 (don't have the exact number as it's registered on my husband's mail id).

Fortunately ..didnt get the call from school during those days (rather still awaited from Somerville ) so the question is on hold for now . Thnx fr ur replies ; even I though of carrying tickets ( in case faced interaction ).
