Respected Mr Vohra and Mr bij,

Vasant valley has a coloumn that says "contribution/achievement of parents towards society/ country" What do they mean by it? What are they asking for?

Also do schools prefer working moms or homemakers? What abt partime working moms?

part time worknig moms are the dram moms i guess....

I'm an IT professional and "hamare bache kiraaye par palte hain"...

I'm sure school would give best credits to part time working moms!

While admissions they give perference to educated homemakers but after admission to working moms in order to be able to contribute to the school

hi priya ji,

this coulmn is to highlight if a parent has done something exceptional in terms of social service/community welfare etc. by virtue of his/her profession or in aphilanthropic way....

this year the schools should not discriminate any child on basis of the occupation/designation or educational qualifications of his/her parents..so i don't think working moms/homemakers will make any difference..

thks a lot bijji! My husband and i r associated with arya samaj for philanthrophic activities and i am associated with school for the underpriviliged children. Can that be put under contribution! Also will we have to give proof for these? I have worked on a few research papers in the field of mgmt. Should i mention abt them!

Really appreciate what u r doing for all the parents. Pls keep up the good work. Thks a lot.

I think you can...but major criteria will be the distance from of the respective branches from your residence..
