I agree with nikhil.

As we have suggested to other parents, make a common format for all schools.

READ ETHOS OF SCHOOL ON SCHOOL WEBSITE AND PUT THAT ON TOP WITH RESPECTIVE SCHOOL APPLICATION FOLLWED BY COMMON FORMAT.

Email/Physical copy and follow up so regularly that school should feel you are genuine parent looking for admission,not to block seat and won't create any issue for school:)

i went to 2-3 schools on Friday but was not entertained... started emailing the schools also .. but they dont reply & guard took the application when i went physically..

should i keep on continuing the same?

I have tried in 4-5 schools with physical application/email and tried to include some school specific information in each application so that it looks more genuine. yes it might be the case that they wont reply immediately and may take some time but from 4-5 application atleast 1-2 will get converted.

From which school you got calls? Even I had tried for 3-4 nearby schools but haven't received any positive response till date.

Hi Ankur,

Contact The Pinnacle School. send them mail and contact them directly by going to the school and dropping request letter. I did the same though i got only 30 points in that school. I am sure after approaching them 3 to 4 times you will get a call.

Agree suman, pinnacle is considering students even if you managed score of 30 pls.

We applied to schools which we really wanted to. Mount Carmel, Anand Niketan, DPS R K Puram/Vasant Vihar and Tagore VV. We delivered the letters sometimes to the guard or PA to the principal whoever was approachable. We specifically wrote the reasons why we wanted our kid to study in that school.

MCS called back and said that this year their seats were full. But they asked us to apply next year in prep. They have 80 seats. Tagore VV called in and asked to meet the principal along with kid and both parents. We had a short interaction with the principal. Later on during the day, we got a call for document verification and fee payment. No extra amount. Tagore VV was our first choice.

Thanks! Actually during the interaction our genuine willingness was visible on our faces., I think :)

Thanks to all in this forum, without the guidance and help this would not have been possible.

And you will not believe, from that day onwards, we have stated to receive calls from other schools confirming admissions! Of course we decline politely now. What I think happens is every student in a locality registers for every school during the form filling duration. As a result the first list is like crazy commotion. After the first list once the storm starts to settle things start falling into place. So I still think all those parents who still have not made it, should be patient. Things will slowly turn their way in the coming days.

Of course, we need to be after the schools of our choice with constant follow-ups.
