Hi Hitesh, i agree with your point that process is process, and we all have to follow it. My point was why unnecessary trouble the 1500 parents when school have to admit 150 wards. Ideally these documents shall be asked after DOL, so all 1500 parents dont have to rush to court for affidavit. School also know they will admit 150 wards only but they want affidavit from all 1500. In DOL they shall select 300/400 wards, verify there documents and filter out wrong ones, if seats are still left then call other 100 wards for verification. Thats my point of view.

@Vivek & Deepti: Reg St Thomas Dwarka - They are not asking anything out of the ordinary. Docs verification is totally fine. They want to filter our candidates who actually have correct docs and are genuinely interested in school hence calling parents for doc verification before the draw.  Only those students will go in their draw who clear this process. This is totally acceptable and they are right in not guaranteeing any admission with docs verification because they are not supposed to and that is the reason there will be a draw. There will be many schools who will ask for first born affidavit like BBPS dwarka before draw. I don't think its unnecessary trouble. Process is process. You have to follow it and take little pains and this is what will later make it rememberable for you. If you want to skip it, you can skip the form of that particular school. No school will come chasing to give admission.

I dont see the logic behind calling up all applicants, that too, i have to arrange 1st born affidavit now, when i am not sure whether i will send my kid there or not. Unnecessary trouble.

Same here Vivek Ji. My slot is on 15th 12-1. So many wards fir dic verification and also they said doc verification doesn’t guarantee admission.

I recd sms from St Thomas reg documents verification to be held next week, for 60+ pointers. I see almost 450 wards on a single day. Will go for it, but any suggestions?

Vivek,Yes,All schools would start uploading list of candidates who have applied in respective schools on 10th Jan.

Poonam,It is mediocre school.

Shipla,It has mixed inputs from parents.

Hi All, from what date will the school start updating lists on websites. I suppose DPS is 10 jan, all are around this date?

@Lathaa Mam: It is because of you and Sakshi mam, as you helped us so much during this time last year. I can understand how tough this period can be for parents and how schools take benefit from parents' anxiety for admission.
