Agreed.

The entire system is a waste. God knows when government would understand the basic need of parents when we are looking for school.

Siblings point is totally justified.. but alumni points should always be less than neighborhood points. My first born couldn't even qualify for draw from nearby school as the first list only contains siblings/alumni pointers.

Maam,

I want to draw attention towards one more irregularity in case of so called 'elite" SANSKRITI school

The points of all children who applied there was uploaded on 17th jan

The list of selected children was uploaded on 24th january

However, if u crosscheck, none of the Government category children selected, have their points displayed..

So they had decided who will be selected before 17th ..and so not uploaded their points conveniently..

i knew my child did'nt stand a chance of getting selected there..but at least the process should be transparent!!

Nursery admission process is disgusting :(

Alumni staff nd management quota all should be sHould be removed only neighbourhood and sibling should be there then all the problems will be solved

Totally agreed...why alumni points...we all knw the admission process few year back... admission in top schools means big money...so, dere should be no point for alumni

I found admission criteria of Salwan Public School most vague and irrational. There was screening of the parents based on social work done or charity work by them (20 points) achievement in sports academics etc etc (20 points) reaerch work (15 points) . How can this school formulate its own criteria of this sort which is nothing but screening of parents. Moreover Any one having third child in a family means no admission to their child. Imagine after first child if someone bychance give birth to twins. Then chances gone.
