Hi Sakshi and parents, I wanted to know about the good and the bad, the plus and the minus of Pathways Aravali. Please help. Thanks.

It is among  most sought after school for IB in Gurgaon.

Cons- Not much but some parents find fees high and are not able to relate with culture in senior classes as they are not with sync as many rich children from all strata of society.

Location is a factor too. Pathways Aravali is 25 kms away (close to Sohna) from Rajiv chowk in a beautiful location but too far for daily commute. The other Pathways is on Gurgaon-Faridabad road which is also kind of outside the city. For very small kids it may be a factor to consider. The school overall seems to be the best in the IB category.

Wanted to know from parents whose kids go to Pathways Aravali or others who have friends like that if there are any negatives/cons associated with Pathways Aravali, the factor of distance of the school being set aside.

Dear Payal,

A cousin attended Pathways Aravali for a year ( 9th standard) before his parents decided to pull him out for 2 reasons-a) Most of the classmates were filthy rich and the values did not resonate with the typical upper middle class values they wanted their child to imbibe. b) Distance was too much ( DLF phase 4 till Aravali)- I think the timings are also quite long ( not sure)

Recently, when I had an interaction with them for admission of my daughter, they mentioned they'll accomodate her in nursery this year itself , even though she was 2 month short of the minimum age eligibility, as long as we paid the fee in 2 weeks. I got a feeling that the school was more focussed on getting the fee rather than ascertaining whether the child was ready.

Although, the school infrastructure, lineage, experience in imparting IB education and general feedback on quality of education are quite good.

As confirmed to our team admission notification would be posted on school website after 15th Sep. No confirm dates till now ,but they confirmed at least one week  time parents would get after admission  notification is posted.
