So unsure on this calling criteria, but hope is its just to speed up the admission process as document verification at the moment doesn't mean the child is selected.

Many schools shortlist parents to double chk the documents and make list of selected candidates and wait list candidates but would come with First list on date given by DOE. As many parents withdraw if they get selected in some other school of their choice, So that school can call wait listed candidates.
