Prents are often called by schools and informed that their ward is selected under management quota. Usually defined on simillar lines as stated below:

The following seats have been selected by the school as per the philosophy of
Representative Affirmative Action (RAA) to ensure that the incoming class into the
school is as diverse as possible with representation of children from all walks of
life. The seats have been chosen dynamically through a computerised algorithm
based on the application information provided, with the goal of capturing the
broadest segments of the population.

Is there any extra fee/ onetime amount expected or asked to be deposited under management quota?
