As many parents still have not received it and are curious to know.

Hi Sakshi, do you have any inputs regarding the query for shiv nadar and heritage 62 ?

Karan Rao

Shiv Nadar does not put pressure on children at all, they focus on holistic development as per first hand reviews of parents.

See parents reviews below.

https://www.admissionsnursery.com/main/search/search?q=shiv+nadar

Just now got the mail from SNS, didn't get selected.

Hi Karan, Hope your ward gets selected in school of your choice.

Regarding Shiv  Nadar, 3 years back my friend whose son was in 4th Grade had put his painting  exhibition in school (having 17 paintings). I was told  the school encourages school  children to follow their passion.About academics, i was told that teacher make it sure that he gets sufficient knowledge on daily basis of each subject as he use to paint the whole day in school.

Shiv Nadar  is most sought after school after TSRS in Gurgaon as per my knowledge.

Hope It Helps !!

Thanks a bunch Sakshi for you support :)

We have opted for Manav Rachna.

My first preference was Shiv Nadar but got regret mail  today.

Pooja

Heartiest Congratulations and Thanks for your Gracious Remarks :)

Swati

No, both schools are different and not related at all.

Hi Sakshi et al

Suncity is placed quite high here(just after Heritage/TSRS/SNS/Scottish/Pathways etc). I went through first 170 search results but couldn't find any post or comment highlighting any specific point about it.

I checked board results and found these pretty average. At level of DPS45, Salwan and SNS, lower than DAV14 and way lower than LVIS and obviously Heritage/TSRS)

I checked its website and facebook page to see how it performs in extra curricular activities and sports (inter school competitions) but not a lot of achievements. DPS45 fairs little better. I didn't find its flagship programs like MI-ME really great.

Speeches from its management people(who are real estate developers) were unimpressive. I attended its webinar which I felt a little fake. Only good thing was cultural performance in its annual days which was exceptionally good at par with reality shows on national channels (if it matters for some).

Can you please provide any specific input from your experience. I will be grateful if Payal (or Dr Juhi or anyone else) can share their thoughts as well as Suncity was in your list of schools last year so you must have gathered some feedback.

I have been offered admission here. My applications for Heritage/TSRS/SNS, which were higher in order in my list, didn't get selected. DPS45 results are on 18th and I need to block seat here by coming Tuesday.

TIA

Hi Avinash, Suncity is Hybrid school and far better than LVIS which has become more like Traditional school just focusing on academics. As  board results were internal  this year that's why  you  might have found LVIS results better this year. LVIS is known for it's unethical ways and  Principal of school is unapproachable and you must have read about parents first hand exp here about her arrogant and high headed attitude.

Suncity School sec 54 is quite sought after school.
Academic curriculum is well structured, child focused, which meets all international standards required for 21st century children.

Futuristic thinking is what  schools believe as per inputs i got for parents.
Co- curricular activities are well planned and they also provide vast opportunity for children to enhance their skills.
Teachers - Suncity has  experienced set of teacher and very qualified.
Security and Hygiene is well maintained in school washrooms, Classrooms.
Administration  is good.

Regarding academics and  board results in Pre-Covid era.

See.

All India topper from differently able child was from Suncity.

Rest no school is perfect and objective of most schools is to earn money.

Only Negative is high fees ( They justify as it is air-conditioned school so expenses are high)

I am not advocating for Suncity but sharing some facts, which might not be known to you.

Hope it helps !!

Avinash

I hope you query has been answered by Dr Juhi who is our 7 year old featured parent and has exp of Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida schools.

I hope you should block your seat.

Suncity>DPS Sec 45 ( Many parents had not opted for DPS Sec 45 as were looking for New Age Schools  in last 4-5 years).

Thanks Dr Juhi/Sakshi for a detailed reply.

I believe apart from usual information exchange (fee, questions, last date, age), these type of discussions and exchange of 1st(or 2nd) hand experiences are of great help.

I am not criticizing Suncity per se, I just put down some facts and observation from my research. I am depositing fees tomorrow and may settle for it eventually.

I compare academics performances of 2018-19 and prior as last 2 years don't give real picture. Some schools like Suncity/DAV14 gives you historical results and for others I use a combination of google and a 3rd party website which archive pages to get older results.

A relative teaches at SNS Gurugram and I asked her about feedback. As she is fairly junior so consulted other teachers and opinion was SNS is good for junior classes but they loose the edge middle onwards and suggested to priorities Suncity over SNS. Interesting. Isn't it? Though they said SNS Noida is quite good. (I still kept SNS above as per different feedbacks collated).

Another point is that their website says tuition fees is 9,320 pm here and tuition fees communicated to me for upcoming session is 16,000 pm. What kind of fee hike it is.

On incidents in schools and mismanagement, many top schools are in same league unfortunately. None handled it responsibly.

Suncity: student molested by two school maids. The principal Mrs. Chakravarty was suspended but she is still there.

LVIS: student molested by school staff.

Heritage62: Acid burn injuries at school playground (grounds are visited by snakes too).
