Class 1 age criteria in Ghaziabad UP for same school student

My daughter is currently studying in Prep in DPS Rajnanagr, I have heard that they are going to implement NEP on existing students from 2024-25 session.They will promote only those students turning 6 yrs as on Jun 30 to class 1,for rest students they are introducing a new class Prep-2. It will be a year's loss for the students and fees also matter, so please investigate and share your feedback on it. My duaghter age will be 5.6 on 31 Mar. 2024.

Ideally it should not affect existing students of same school and should be applicable on new admission for session 2024-25( Nur)

Will it create any problem in future if less than 6 year student admitted to class -1 for session 2024-25. I am thinking to enroll my daughter with other school which donot have this 6+ age criteria for class-1. Please provide your suggesiton.
