Congrats and good luck. Till some time ago I thought that first Noida parents are getting called but I checked your profile and u are based in Delhi....so perhaps Delhi parents have also started getting calls. Good Luck dear :-).

@ deepali: every school is  trying to outbeat the other school to the amount of stress then can put their parents through, i think HT should also rank schools based on their ethical values, their transparency and the amount of stress they put parents through. and the kind of questions they ask us to write, very few people can be diplomatic in their answers and frame them properly, more like the mail writing art we have in office, sometimes i feel the schools are trying to judge us based on a lot of other hidden things which arent actually seen. i was surprised when at our interview in mayoor last week, the first question principal asked us was who wrote the application form (she liked my husband's handwriting). probably the reason why they make us write such long forms also is to judge our handwriting skills

The sequence of calling is definitely on a preferred list basis and they seem to want to close on such candidates before 14th, after which other good schools start there process. However, my grudge is why do this calling in a hush hush manner to increase anxiety amongst parents. Each day we wait for a call. Rather tell us that the selection did not happen. We will have peace then.

@ lavanya, Definitely they would be following some criteria but I think it is better to inform all the shortlisted candidates at one go as in other schools

Regarding Amity transport:

and afternoon route

Morning route is for class Nursery to XII but after noon route is for1st to XII.

No information for Nursery and KG students in afternoon. Any information for Nur and KG students in afternoon.

We have submitted the form on 27th 4.00 p.m, so keeping our fingers crossed.

But I dont understand why the school is following this mode of interaction and not disclosing it on website/ displaying at their gate. We all belive that this would be the best school for our kids but they are not even following any ethics and loyalty which they have told to be at 14th Sep. And these school expects that they should get the ideal parents and students.

am sure they are following some criteria in calling parents, read up on times a few days back a note from principal - amity - noida, she was saying that follow point system like the ones in delhi schools, but the article didnt say anything about what the criteria were- must be same like delhi- sibling/ alumi etc. when i didnt get a call i was thinking probably because we didnt belong to both sibling / alumi criteria we didnt get a call. i think they are calling based on point system.
