Akshat , Sibling is demand of parents as sending kids to two different school is very tough ,if you disagree i can elaborate .
@ Maharam Tanwar- probably a letter on the company letterhead which says tht so and so has been transferred to delhi from Xyz place owing to job responsibilities.this can also be verified by a gazzeted officer or some one similar to decrease chances of forgery..all I am saying is that if there is an alumni category there ought to be a transfer category too..Either scrape both or keep both to give equal chances to all.
Let us be clear about one thing-- No school in Delhi discriminates between Delhi and non-Delhi wallas. The discrimination begins when we introduce points under categories like 'transfer' , 'alumni' , 'divorcee'. There is absolutely no connection between these categories and nursery admissions. We should ask ourselves a simple question -- Why should these categories get special status? Are they disadvantaged in any way (like physically handicapped)? Is there any school which denies you admission just because you are a divorcee or transferred from outside Delhi? I would appeal all the like-minded parents to join and support Mr Vohra's cause.
@nayeer i second you
Dr deepak kumar
pls see groups both are on home page
see the link below (all list and details in the group)
thts wht was implied in my answer..either remove both alumni and tranfer points or have some mechanism to check that only genuine parents get transfer points..in any case, my son wont be getting transfer points as we shifted here more than a year and a half back so we have only distance points and first child( where schools have points for it)..keepin my fingers crossed for delhi schools.
@ sakshi, can you plz provide me the link..I am not able to find that.

Mr Vohra feels alumni is indirect screening and wants it to be removed and rest some schools are misusing transfer points
we are not against genuine parents on transfer.
Nayeersadaf see my comment in east delhi night to same questions yesterday night

Yes Akshat , Even some schools are giving 20- 25 points for " Is your job transferable" but Schools like dps gives 5 or 10 points if you have been transferred in last one year with documentary proof and people do get forged documents.
The idea originated as people coming from outside delhi wont have sibling points and most of them might not have even alumni points. but it is being misused ,by schools itself where they have changed the definition only by replacing it by "IS YOUR JOB TRANFERABLE " IRRESPECTIVE OF THE FACT WHETHER THE PERSON WOULD BE TRANSFERRED OUTSIDE DELHI IN HIS LIFE TIME OR NOT.
