Bal Bharti Dwarka or BGS - which is better

Pls suggest which is a better option between BBPS or BGS. Factors are academics, extra curricular and Discipline. BBPS is a brand name but I heard acedemics wise, BGS is better. Pls suggest

In my perspective, BGS is better as it has better student-teacher ratio than BBPS.

Hi Jas, What is the student teacher ratio in both the schools. BGS is charging 50K extra ove and above tuition+admission fees. On other factors, which one is better. BBPS is one of the top 5 schools in Dwarka in HT servey last yr. My wife is in favour of BGS because of feedback she got from other parents. I am in favour of BBPS because of brand value. Pls help..

BBPS would be good option.

You will have a clear picture. In BGS last year it was 1:40 at nursery level and moreover in BBPS you can expect little more extracurricular activities than BGS.

BGS neither had nor has 40 students in any section in any class at any time. Maintaining the the low student-teacher ratio has been the priority of this school since its beginning.
For your kind information, BGS has 150 students intake in Nursery level (5 sections of 30 each).At nursery level it has one teacher and one 'didi' to help the small children, so it comes to 30:2 at nursery level.
Please don't write the wrong facts while justifying your perception of the schools. If not sure, call the school and then write.

I am too writing with the feedback of a member who admitted last year. I know it was 25 :1 at intial stages and only I knew after our member updated me. Calling schools in not necessary since our forum has many parents and parents feedback are most valuable one.

This is the feedback I got from a parent name I don't want to disclose

..............is doing fine in BGS but there r couple of things I have noticed about school...
A) around 40 kids in each standard accompanied by one teacher and one maid. In most schools there r two teachers to manage one section.
individual child attention is not there and teacher has agreed to it and said they can't do much about it.
C) kids fight in class and there no one to see what's going on.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,came crying many times and I was forced to teach her to push any kid who push her.
D) teachers don't help kids in eating rather ask them to stop eating and close the box if lunch time is over. They don't help slow eaters to finish it quickly

Later got settled now and feeling good about the school comparing to other schools.

This is the blatant lie I have come to know about 40 students in one section. It hasbeen the school's policy to maintain the low student teacher ratio. Most parents goes to this school because of the moderate fees, low student-teacher ratio and academics.I have known all these schools right from their inception. These are all lies. Ask the parents to write the facts and not lies. This is something which you can verify from the school or any other parents.

Schools always promote their positive image on phone - do you think they will tell you that their student teacher ratio is high on phone. Parents whose wards study are the only ones who can tell the real story. However its always advisable to talk to many parents than a single one as the opinion might be biased for single one.
