Second List of FASN

Hello D/P,

Anyone having idea about second list of FASN? Today I went to school to meet principal but they didn't entertain us. Even they are not ready to disclose about the selection criteria.

Usually they don't declare second list. They select within the shortlisted candidates. They also don't entertain queries. There is no declared criteria. As per my understanding, the most important criteria is whether or not their bus route covers your address. They also consider parents qualifications and type of employment. During PTMs in last two years I met many parents who had their office nearby the school.

But matter of concern is that in my society two kids got shortlisted there. Moreover I am a professionally qualified CMA and my wife is a language expert. So I don't think that we are not meeting above mentioned criteria. There must be something else which school is hiding.

You are right Naresh. Schools should be more transparent in their criteria and evaluation. Sadly they are not. But the good news is that there are so many good schools around and future of our kids is not dependent on selection/rejection in a particular school.
