Salwan Public School and others - flouting DOE norms !!!
majority of the schools have already uploaded the list of Applicants with the points allotted except a few like Salwan, Angel public, DAV srestha vihar,
It seems Salwan Public School is outrageously not following the directions of DOE.
They had neither uploaded the list of applicants on 10th Jan, nor are they uploading the list with the points allotted which was supposed to be done on 17th Jan 2020 i.e. today.
How are we expected to re-confirm that the child has been allotted the eligible points?
if we see the list, at least we can get the errors rectified, if any.
When called they say that they have uploaded the list on DOE. and it will take a week to see that list on doe website.
I spoke to DOE and they said, that the schools have to upload on their website and there is no such provision to do on DOE website.
They said that we need to register our complaints on email so that they can take action.

we need to do this as aware citizen and parents.

I received a quick reply from the office of Shri Manish Sisodia. the issue has been escalated to the director Edu. Mr. Binay Bhushan.

Hi Deepak, You have set example and very few parents do it.
All parents should also follow and put pressure on DOE.I must congratulate you to fight against schools who think they are above everyone.
But keep following it up, as no action is being taken against any school even after Dir Education giving quotes in news papers to take punitive action against schools.

Until we have multiple written complaints to the DOE, these schools are not going to mend their ways.
The problem is that we as parents are going to be affected by this just for the year of admission, will follow up for some time and then let go.
We have to have the govts accountable.
e.g. when I told the DOE officials about the irregularities, they immediately said, please give us in writing, otherwise "aap kal mukar jaayenge"!!!
I said, as observer, DOE should check and monitor on their own, all school's website and processes that they need to adhere to. They said they Cannot do that. I was surprised though, but I avoided argument.
Rather, I shall keep in mind the same and bring in notice of education minister, when he visits our area and the townhalls.
We are in positive direction, but its a long way to go.

Salwan seems to be the worst off.
I spoke to so many people on call, but they are adamant, " we dont do that for years". "DoE never said to publish on school's website" etc
Now I may have to rethink, even if my child gets shortlisted.

Atleast now DOE has awakened. Some action has been taken after complaint was highlighted in media/
