In view of the current circumstances and after receiving a lot of requests from parents and teachers, we are contemplating the option of reduction in the syllabus and instructional hours.

Dear Parents,

Give suggestions and we would forward to HRD Minister.

My view is that 2020 should be declared a Zero academic year and some exceptions should be done.

For sure, schools should not be opened as children cannot simply practice social distancing and be that much cautious.

At least Nur-V could be simply promoted to next class and of course its fine to then increase the syllabus next year to cover for the shortfalls this year. Please its also a request not to conduct any online classes for Nursery and KG students. They are too small, haven't yet seen their schools, teachers, classmates. How can you make them concentrate and put unnecessary pressure.

VI onwards, option could be to reduce the syllabus to 50% and conduct exams to test. Again timings for online classes should be limited. Sitting in school and studying 6 hrs is different to doing 6hrs of online class. Specially for working parents its very difficult as the online class timings and work from home timings always clash.

I dont think considering this big a pandemic, its that important to put pressure on students. If 1 year could be considered as exception, it will not do any harm rather safeguard our children and prevent further danger of community spread.

I agree with Sweta mam.

Kids in nursery can not follow online classes in a effective manner. They do not have any idea about a school.

Schools wants to make money from this business. During this lock down school premises  are not used; yet scholls are not reducing the tution fees. I would request to Government should issue some guidelines regarding the fees raised by schools. Also there should be some relaxation in this regard.

Every school have started online classes for nursery for their monetary interest intentionally. Govt should step in and take necessary action.
