@snehiljain looking forward for some insights from you.

Dear Vinay Sir,

I very much second what Vivek Sir had clarified in context of composition of the students. Eventually, we are living in this big world and open thoughts and suggestions or projection flows from all corners. So, as parents it is our utmost duty that we make sure irrespective of the lieu of the school that may end up in any class/section, we must collaborate to assist the school in providing the right teachings, be humble and grounded.

No school crops so called brats (it would be harsh for kids to say so), it is us (the few unbothered and careless parents/guardians) within the larger community that give wings for such thoughts within our kids. The school kids are keen learner much more than any other age and hence they are real students. The area of interest of the kids may vary, however they are at learning all the time, and so forth we must have healthy interaction daily with them to subside such things/incidences (we can't held other responsible for upbringing that belongs to us). Nonetheless, its not only education of the kids, but becoming better person by knowing all the colors on the painting canvass to draw their art :) and this also applicable to us for lifelong too. So when we say holistic development of the child, then it's not on the school only, it's require much needed home guidance.

Now, coming back to the schools in Dwarka, I would recommend to refer this discussion thread and if you want to be limited to the schools orientated as in this topic and followed comments, then I would order them as follows:

1. Nirmal Bhartia

2. St. Thomas' (my addition per topic discussion)

3. R.D.Rajpal

4. J.M.International (my addition per topic discussion)

5. ITL

6. MBS

7. Sachdeva Global / GDG - Any pick

8. OPG

Wishing the best for your kid.

Regards,

Snehil

Hi Snehil,

Thanks for your valuable inputs. The only point I wanted to make was keeping this new generation connected to their roots. I myself prefer living low profile and wish that my kids also remain grounded. No questions on anyone's parenting (every parent wants the best for their child).

Coming back to schools list. St. Thomas is not added to my list because of its location. JM International I personally didn't like after getting a hint of money-minting from their admission counsellor. I was really impressed with OPG infra and few parent's reviews(talked to them on phone). I wonder why you placed it at last position in your list. Can you help me with some points which made you think that way for OPG? and same for GDG also. Please share your thoughts on these two schools.

It will help me decide on it better.

P.S. Apologies for using the word 'brat'. I love kids. :-)

OPG - I would not go much far but in near past there has been a tormenting incidence which you can go over by visiting this link https://indiankanoon.org/doc/5463335/

Besides, on my personal visit to the school, when I had interaction with the school management and counsellors last year, there focus was only on admission procedures and not on the kid (no attention and engagement, which one would get in numerous various other schools) who was all curious to explore the campus of the school, rather they were annoyed at my kid for moving here and there.

So, if I co-relate the two things, I would not be pleased at all with the school as parent. Infrastructure stands secondary in lieu of this.

GDG - It's matter of ranking among the specified school, it is established school yet not in the ranks per its fee structure (and as you had put in the criteria of your watch-out list of don't, it is one of the school which took most of the direct admissions). You can be certain that MBS (with there efforts to grow and make their mark) would be better bet over it.

Thanks!

I went through the admission process  last year and had same thought like you, but at the end of the whole process, I realised that there is no such school in Dwarka atleast, where rich brats study. The reason is, Draw of lots, its just luck game and random picking of chits allow anyone to get study in that school. So relax and wait till DOL.

From the above list, for ITL you have to wait till DOL. GDG offered to book seat before DOL (last year), RDR also confirmed admission lately (never observed their list of kids selected in DOL). OPG/Sachdeva/MBS shall admit any time you want.

Others can provide.more info.

P.S.: would like to know, which Dwarka schools do you think rich brats study.

Thanks Vivek.
I agree with your DOL point. But since a few schools book seats even before the DOL there are chances that people with high financial background tend to block the seats for their kids.

I have heard from many that schools like GDG are like those, where rich kids study(not really study) and the environment of the school is more like that only.

Hi Vinay,

Many schools offer seats before DOL becuase they know they cant fill the seats based only on DOL results and they are the last choice of parents.

I cant comment particulary on GDG but yes, I dropped the idea of admission last year (even if my kid was selected in DOL or nothing else was left) after seeing their astronomical high fees. It was 1.7lks last year, not sure what would be this year. But, there will be many good schools left where you would be willing you ward to get admitted and having normal fees.

But, I agree this time is mentally killing and require high level.of patience.

Haha Vivek.

To answer your P.S. point above:

I heard GDG is one of those schools. It may be completely wrong info but this is what I've heard. Infact you also mentioned the astronomical high fees there.

So may be.

How about Nirmal Bhartia School.

I have heard they have a very high fee structure but the school is really good.

Please shed some light.

Yes, I've also heard the same. Can anyone please suggest?
