hi Sakshi,

Can you please help me with this. What I have understood is that these schools are almost equally good. But I want to understand the difference in teaching methodologies.

Regards,

Ritu

Hi sakshi

I want to know the same. Plz reply

Please can someone guide me on this - I have a call from LVIS. Should I wait for SNS?

What is the difference in terms of teaching methodologies? I am very confused :(.

Hope this article from a parent will help - http://deyatanu.blogspot.in/2011/11/schools-in-gurgaon-review.html

Hi Ritu! I too got a call frm LVIS for my son's admission! Suffering frm d same dilema! No idea tht if we prolong d admission thr whether we will lose seat there! SNS will declare results in mid sept which wud b too late! Moreover their infrastructure doesnt seem convincing to me! Plz let me know if u go ahead wid the admission in LVIS!
Regards!

Hi Ritu & Arnika,

Same is my case..My son too got an admission in LVIS but in prenursery (due to their agecriteria as 3.3 yrs)Instead,he is getting nursery in Amity & Apeejay...plz suggest whether i shud wait for Aity & Apeejay or go ahead with pre nursery admision in LVIS?

Hi Smriti!

As far as Amity is concerned, I applied in sector 43 branch of dis school and can frankly say that I wasnt impressed by the infrastructure there! I appeared to me just a conventional kind of school as compared to many other schools which have come up recently in gurgaon including LVIS. I am not sure abt APJ as I didnt apply there! However going for Pre Nursery seems an issue to me as he will have to unnecessarily go through this class for the entire year and next year he would be older than other kids in his nursery class! Give a thought to this keeping in view all pros and cons!

hey smriti......

i think you should go for pre nursery as my son is just past the age bar he just turns 3and a half on march 22....lifelong he will be one of the youngest in his class.....that is a lot of preassure on a kid as most of the kids will be elder to him...and at this tender age each month counts in the development of the child.....so i am facing the same confusion....your child is even younger do not put him in nursery......go for prenursery....rest is up to you ...all the best ...cheeers...

You can talk to LVIS Principal and request for Nursery admission. I did the same for my daughter, she is also 3.3 yrs and they agreed for nursery.

I have not gone with LVIS... somehow our interaction was scheduled twice but because we were not able to go because of some unavoidable things.... :(

I think admissions are closed there now... I am still keen on SNS... but I definitely wanted to go to LVIS for interaction which seems is out of our hands now...

Hey,thanks a ton Shradha,Amit &Ritu...but Amit,at the time of filling up the form we requested them but they bluntly said 2-3 months also matters a lot so he is eligible for pre nursery only n at the time of interaction, principal didn't even ask or mentioned it...i m not sure now they wud change it...wat dou say?

@Smriti,

My apologies for the delayed reply.

During our discussion with LVIS principal I stressed that i will put my daughter in LVIS only if she will be taken in Nursery (as she has already done 1 year of pre-nursery in KLAY).

She agreed for the same. Not sure what can be the reason in your case.
