Some time  good news pour from all directions. Today we have got positive news from FASN and Somerville for our daughter. 

Now we have to make a final call. Sakshi I hope you will help us in finalizing this.

Our case is also similar to Preeti's. Our daughter also performed quite well in front of Sr. Geeta but couldn't get through. It seems that they give weightage to office distance also as our home is just 1.5 kms from FAS Noida but our offices are 8 kms away from the school.

But all is well that ends well as we had secured seat at SFS, now we are more positive about SFS (though we definitely would have choosen FAS over SFS).

Fee details have been shared by school in the prospectus given at the time of interaction, it goes like this:

Development Fund (One Time to be paid at the time of admission) ----------------- Rs. 25000

Admission Fee (One Time to be paid at the time of admission) --------------------Rs. 15000

Annual Fee (Yearly, to be paid along with first quarter fee) --------------------------Rs. 5000

Tution Fee (Quarterly) ------------ Rs. 12900

Pamphlet says Fees are payable quarterly in advance, by the 20th of the first month of the quarter i.e. April, July, October and January.

Further Bus charges vary from 1100 to 1250 depending upon distance.

Thanks a ton for the guidance through this forum. Before the admission process started we were quite worried that how we'll keep track of the opening dates and follow up dates. But AN.com made it a very easy process. We were sure that we'll never miss any school dates as we are now members of this cooperating forum.

It is this forum only through which we were able to settle our mind at SFS over Amity Vasundhara.

Thanks once again Sakshi for keeping the forum so lively and instantly giving your valuable suggestions when parents are in need.

For us it was the toughest interview. Good long 10-15 mins..We went to sisters room where she mostly interviewed my son.Questions asked were:
What's your name
How are you
Colour of pencil in her hand
Colour of Melody toffy
She checked the counting on fingers till 10 by asking how many Melody did she give
What is pencil used for
Showed a water bottle and asked what was it
Who are sitting next to you
Who kept your name
Then asked us have we filled forms of other schools
Why did we choose FAS
And told us to tell something about ourselves

As of now they have asked for demand draft of Rs 40k including (25 Annual + 15 Admission)..Will update once we get the actual fee breakup  for sure.

My daughter is also got selected for FAS.We have to deposit the DD on 31st August.
