Ok, this post is nothing but just a rant from a parent. High chances are that if you have not gone through this, you will not understand it. It is a horrible, frustrating and irritating process. So let me to take it out:-
- There is no uniform age criteria for Nursery admissions in NCR. Some schools set it as 3- 4 years, others keep it as 3.5- 4 years, most good schools keep the latter. So if your child is born after 30 Sept, you will miss a…

Yes u are so correct, its a head spinning process, no i haven't done my kids admission, im really confused coz he has been selected in Amity but we have high hopes of his selection in DPS NOIDA, but our last date to submit fee at Amity is 26th & DPS NOIDA's result will be out 7th Oct. Really confused coz if i submit fee in Amity my funds will be blocked for 1 year its their policy & then i will have financial crunch for fee depositing at DPS NOIDA..... donno what to do?
No idea y all this is happening in DPSGV, but i hope ur aware of this that DPS vasundhara is not part of DPS Society, hence ill refer you to go ahead with Indus Valley

My aplogies for such a late reply. Below are answers to questions:-
1) Why have you opted for this school?
Ans: WE WANT OUR WARD TO BECOME A GOOD HUMAN BEING, ADHERE TO BASIC PRINCIPLES OF HUMANITY AND UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD AND BAD. FOR THIS CHOOSING THE CORRECT SCHOOL IS VERY FIRST STEP.
2) Would you willingly agree with the principles of equality, love and brotherhood,
and discipline required for such a growth ,which are central to the school?
Ans: WE SHALL ADHERE TO ALL THE PRINCIPLES AND DISCIPLINES TAUGHT IN SCHOOL AS THEY WILL BE IN BEST INTEREST OF OUR WARD.
3) What are your expectation from the school and the teachers with respect to
your child?
Ans: TEACH BASIC PRINCIPLES OF HUMANITY, DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD AND BAD, RESPECT FOR ELDERS AND FELLOW PEOPLE.
4) Does your child suffer from a disability or ailment where the school has to be cautions in handling him/her?
Ans: NA

In what ways can you help the school in improving Education(can you provide career guidance,medical support,management counsultancy,subject expertise & resource mobilzation)?
Ans: WE SHALL PROVIDE EVERY HELP.
Ans: BASIC PRINCIPLES OF HUMANITY, RESPECT FOR ELDERS, DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD AND BAD, BEING SELF SUFFICIENT, CORRECT VALUES.
7) In case both the parents are working,who looks after your child in your absence?
Ans: KID'S GRANDPARENTS.
8) s there any suggestion you would like to make to the school, about its norms and procedures or anything that would help education in general and the School in particular?
Ans: FAS IS A VERY GOOD SCHOOL PROVIDING CORRECT VALUES TO CHILDREN. WE REQUEST THE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE ALL AROUND DEVELOPMENT TO OUR WARD.
9) Do you have any concrete ideas to improve education in the School or at large?
Ans: PRACTICAL EXAMPLES TEACH MUCH EASILY THAN BOOKISH TEACHING. ALSO, CLEARING CONCEPTS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR MAKING CHILDREN UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY STUDY

today even at the time of interaction the lady interviewing us asked us y we got the date changed? i politely replied that we wr out of station and wr nt xpecting the results b4 10th evng... she also smiled and said that it was their mistake of preponing the results... so give a try...
Hi Sweety, My hubby was out of India and I was out of city wn i received their call. I told the lady who called that we both wont be bk by monday evng so wt to do nw, she told us to inform the same to the principal at the following mail i.d. and we wud get another date. (aisvasundhra@aisv.amity.edu). I recieved their mail on monday afternoon that we have another date for wednesday. Today there were 2 other parents also with the change of date issue and all three of us were entertained last. U can try talking to them once more coz interactions are still on. Try leaving a mail. Gud Luk.
