FAS Vaishali new not much reviews but sought after
FAS Vaishali is very good school and as my daughter is also studying here (Nursery) I would recommend this.
Thanks AN.com, Sakshi and the fellow admission seekers for all your help, My daughter got selected in FAS Noida and hence the admission struggle ends here.
To return the favor, If anybody wants to seek any advice about the schools, their reviews and importantly the interactions I would be happy to share my views. Many thanks, and All the Best to everyone!
Abhishek
Heartiest Congratulations for getting in one of most sought after schools of Noida .Thanks for gracious remarks :)
Pls help parents with queries this year and in future whenever you are free.
Tx Sakshi,
This website and your prompt response helped a lot in our preparedness. :)
Q - Have to choose between AIS Noida vs. FAS Noida?
Got different opinions (mentioning below, thought to share with other parents), some are saying AIS is best, some are saying FAS. As per the forum's old reviews FAS>=AIS.
Yet to finalize !!!
**********************
Yesterday I talked to couple of parents whose wards are studying in AIS noida and in 3rd and 7th standard. And got mix kind of responses. As per them AIS is more of a academics centric school.
Though they have infra supporting for all extra co-curricular activities but again resources are limited (looking at the strength of each class). The things is how much kids are able to utilize.
There are 2 things-
A) Very few will get chance to stand, in sports activities, out of huge numbers (like every class have approx 500+ students i.e. section from A-M with 40 approx student in each section). All admitted kids are best kids but the kid who excel in particular activity(s) will get chance to stand out (means THE BEST out of BEST kids) and for rest again left with no choice other to concentrate more towards academics, in order to score more.
B) Now, if very few promoted in extra curricular, then the competition level among rest will be too high. The kind of academics curriculum they are following in which every week (surprise exams/quizzes/etc), month, quarter (pre-structured) and annual exam happening which regress occupying kids with their academics only. Not only the kids but also the parents back at home, Means kind of peer pressure pressure on kid/parent/etc.
The early classes Nursery, KG, 1st are building block for these Kids and to develop (for kids) and identify(by parents) in which area the kid take more interest in. But if this kind of peer competition situation arise since beginning, they hardly able to develop some.
Though the feedback is they are good at academics as well.
That's why kind of confused :) and still trying to figure out more by talking to some other parents.
