unfortunately we have just moved to delhi from pune  and only have rent agreement and aadhar card with new address . is this sufficient ?

Yes Aadhar card will suffice

If you have your Aadhar card having your current delhi address, it should be enough.

If the neighborhood criteria becomes all important as is likely to be the case , keep 2 to 3 address proofs ready and get your rent agreement registered.

Not sure this gonna happen . 1 km radius gets the priority I m sure schools will not accept it
